Hamilton Hills Neighborhood

Special Projects

Several special projects are always in the works in YOUR Hamilton Hills neighborhood.  We have projects dealing with sanitation issues in the neighborhood (obtaining immovable garbage cans for various problem areas), greening projects, recycling projects, summer art programs, and other things always cooking up.  Some of the delay is in getting funding...

Funding Special Projects:

Donate your used inkjet toner cartridges or old cell phone to HHNA for Neighborhood Improvement & Greening Projects

Your Hamilton Hills Neighborhood Association is always working on some kind of project to improve the neighborhood for YOU!!  Raising funds for these projects is always an issue.  We have several project ideas that we are developing grant proposals to get funding.  Since grants are not always easily obtainable, we have also partnered with Recycle North America to fundraise for these projects through recycling.  At the General HHNA meetings (held every third Wednesday in odd numbered months) we will now be accepting used inkjet cartridges and used cell phones (as long as the cartridges and phones are undamaged) for recycling – there will be a box available at the entrance to the meeting location.  HHNA, as a non-profit organization, will receive some funds in return for every item we collect for recycling.  Please contact Sandy Young via e-mail or phone (410-426-9672) for more details.

If you have an idea for a special project that you think YOUR HHNA should address please e-mail either Jamie Haskel (the president of HHNA) or Sandy Young (the special projects coordinator).
